The workshop will run from 11.00 am to approximately 2.30/3pm pm at a cost of ￡90.00 per person. (This includes a non- refundable fee of £20). All materials required to make a beautiful botanical plaster cast are included and a comprehensive information sheet will be yours to take home.
During the workshop you will learn how to:
prepare the clay and frame
work with plant materials to make an attractive design
mix the plaster to fill the clay impression
release the cast from the mould. (You will be amazed by the wonderful details captured!)
clean and finish the piece
I will also talk about the use of colour on plaster which is an option you might like to try on future casts you make at home.
There will be a break for lunch ( bring a packed lunch or order from the onsite cafe - I will send a menu after booking the workshop).
Walford Mill is a Grade II listed mill and unique destination in Wimborne, Dorset. With the waterside café Little Pickle at the Mill , resident artists, designers and makers working in open studios, exhibitions, pop-up studios, craft workshops for adults and children and monthly craft markets in the idyllic riverside courtyard, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

In the unlikely event that I have to cancel the workshop due to extenuating circumstances, I will try to reschedule the event. Should no suitable date be found, I will refund your payment in full.

If the group workshop needs to be cancelled for any reason, I will try to reschedule the event. NB the £20 booking fee will need to be paid again for the new date.
I may take photos during the workshop for use for advertising purposes If you do not wish to be featured please let me know
